Did you know that women were excluded from most medical research trials until the late 1990’s? Research informs policy and practice, and without research, women’s health continues to be overlooked, misdiagnosed, and dismissed. Women’s health research remains woefully underfunded and women’s medical conditions are understudied.

Investment in research is the solution to women’s health inequity. Join us at Illuminations presented by RBC Wealth Management where you will learn the BC Women’s Health Foundation’s commitment to research + innovation and how we intend to close the gap, remove the bias, and enable women’s health care needs to be understood, diagnosed and treated, in BC and beyond.
